Heart Mountain Animal Health is Powell's full-service companion animal hospital. We care for your pet at every stage — preventive checkups while they're young, early detection as they age, and complete medical and surgical care whenever they need it.

Veterinarian
Dr. Justina Pahl, DVM
A Wyoming native — graduated from Ten Sleep High School in 1999, earned her bachelor's in Animal & Veterinary Sciences at the University of Wyoming, and her DVM from Colorado State in 2007. After a one-year internship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY, she practiced small and mixed animal medicine in the Billings/Laurel area before joining the team here in Powell. She is active with the Montana Spay/Neuter Task Force, which provides surgeries for low-income and underserved areas. Her interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, diagnostic imaging, and preventive medicine.
